Complete the event details, dietary groups, item choices, and package sizes. Every input remains editable after calculation.
The calculation starts with owned portion ranges in ounces per serving unit. An adult counts as one unit and a child counts as 0.6. Events lasting three to four hours use a 1.1 duration multiplier; longer events use 1.2. Your selected buffer applies after those steps.

Shopping units round upward to whole packages. Costs use only the prices entered in this tab, never a grocery feed. Blank prices stay blank and produce a clearly marked partial total.
Portions are planning estimates, and appetite varies. Dietary compatibility comes from the item labels in this tool, so current product labels remain the authority. For a severe allergy, use verified ingredients plus separate preparation, tools, and serving surfaces.
Planning beverages for the same event? The party drink calculator estimates bottles, mixers, water, and ice.
