How to make it

  • Select and pre-chill a flute glass.
  • Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
  • Stir powdered sugar with lemon juice in the base of shaker until sugar dissolves.
  • Add gin and shake with ice.
  • Fine strain into chilled glass.
  • Top with sparkling wine and briefly stir. Or pour half the sparkling wine into the glass first to help reduce foaming and eliminate need to stir.
