How to make it
- Cut lime in half from pole to pole, slice one of the halves into eight 3-4mm thick half-moon segments, and drop into the base of a rocks glass.
- Add caster sugar and muddle.
- Add slices of banana and muddle again to extract juice and dissolve sugar.
- Transfer the muddled fruit and sugar into a highball glass.
- Pour cachaca into the rocks glass used to muddle, swirl to rinse, and then pour into the serving glass. Stir to mix the ingredients.
- Crack 4-5 large ice cubes and drop into the serving glass. Stir before topping with more ice. Serve with a stirrer.
